Wind isn’t usually your friend on the side of a mountain. But snowkiting pro Aaron Sales uses the wind to his advantage. Sales recently completed a record-breaking ascent of Mount Saint Helens, climbing 3,150 vertical feet in under 35 minutes. Check out this footage of Sales flying up the steep, snow-covered slope. The next time the wind is slapping your face on an ascent, you’re going to wish you had a kite!
